This site has grown out of Dominic Roskrow's Norwich Whisky Tastings. Over the last few years we have tasted an amazing range of whiskies. As an indicator of the whiskies you may expect from WTC, look here for a list of some we have had at our tastings with Dom. Dominic has been drinking professionally for 20 years and concentrating on whisky for about nine. He was editor of Whisky Magazine for four years before setting up his own business, and launched Beers of the World Magazine in 2005. Dominic now writes regularly for Whisky Magazine and Malt Advocate. He has visited most of the distilleries of Scotland, Ireland and America, and travels regularly to distilleries across the world in search of new stories. His first book on whisky, Need To Know Whiskies, was published by Harper Collins worldwide in March 2008. He has since had several other books published. His latest is out in October 2010, The World's Best Whiskies: 750 Essential Drams from Tennessee to Tokyo. He is one of the few people in the world to be a Keeper of the Quaich and a Kentucky Colonel - and cooks an outstanding Kentucky fried haggis. Favourite whiskies? Oh mama... Tony is a Senior Lecturer in Computer Science at UEA and a complete peat freak. He is developing this website to help keep his skills at least equal to those of his students. Judge for yourself whether he is suceeding (and please email him if you find any bugs in the site). His favourite whiskies are Port Charlotte 7, Ardbeg Renaissance, Laphroaig 18 and Lagavulin 12, but he likes exploring the non peat world too (occasionally) |

Pat was an academic until he realised the error of his ways. Still, it got him into whisky for which he will be forever grateful. He is now a part-time writer and academic; he also works in the Norwich Whisky Shop. He loves all whisky, but particularly Rosebank, Springbank and Balvenie. |

Michelle's interest in whisky began 15 years ago when she spent two months hitch-hiking around Scotland. Since then she has stopped smoking cigars but her love of whisky has only grown. Today Michelle likes rye, bourbon and Japanese whisky, although her favourite is Lagavulin Distiller's Edition 1991. |

Arby is a wheaten terrier, and our mascot. He likes barking, biting, sniffing and stinking, but gets away with it by looking very cute. Visit Arby on Facebook |
